Does anyone own any of their favourite boxer's autographs? I bought Muhammad Ali's recently, inside a biography, which was signed on a book tour in the 1990s. Wondered if anyone collected them as well as being a fan of the sport??

How was Ali signing anything by the 90s? Sounds like you got duped.

I bought a first edition Henry Armstrong autobiography with a signature.

But it wasnt authenticated and my own opinion it isnt his signature. Armstrong write like an absolute calligrapher in his life.

But yeah I have a collection of the typical sigs. RJJ Pacquiao Cotto Micky Ward etc etc

He did two book signing tours here in the UK in the early 90s and was still signing pretty well. The guy I bought it from met Ali in person at the signing. I also sent it off to an Ali autograph expert for authentication. So I'm happy with it.
But you are right to be wary with Ali signatures. There are many, many fakes. I got fooled myself with one when I was younger - which is why I'm so careful now.

I don’t really have many autographs. James Toney and Joe Hipp are the two that come to mind.
