    my #1 pick is BHOP

a very controversial and outspoken character. he came from nothing, then chose a life of crime. he ended up being a top boxer in prison. he ended up losing his first pro fight but never gave up even while being outshined by RJJ. then in his later years he ends up getting the big fights while being an underdog numerous times then finally avenges his loss to Roy. and of course becomes the oldest man to win a world title.

BHOPs life story would make a great movie IMO

    any one else?

Demarcus Corley. Dude has to support his children and his late brothers. Journeyman with good boxing skills that has been robbed countless times. He just recently caught a break.

Duran's is on the way :D

aside from him, Tapia's would make for great drama, very dark and gritty but not exactly mainstream hollywood stuff

Floyd Patterson, being a young kid with the greatest title in the world, living the life, then getting embarrassed, and having to comeback from it.

Kassim Ouma had a documentary "Kassim The Dream."
I still have to watch it but I always thought his story was interesting.
Maybe on a "Blood Diamond" level production and feel.

Bernard would be good. He's famous enough for them to make a movie about. Hell even a book would work for me

14 yr. old boy, family was a thousand of miles away, homeless for almost 2 years to become rich and influential today.

A movie about Hopkins would be as boring as most of his fights.

Excellent doc. It's funny you mention Blood Diamond. When recalling scenes from BD (one of my favs of the last 5 or so years) to friends, I always mention scences from Kassim's doc, and have friends say, that wasn't in the movie. Anyways, if you haven't seen this doc, please do so. Very moving.

I wouldn't mind another movie on Jack Johnson even though they made "The Great White Hope" back in the day. I could see them getting Jamie Foxx because of the build, acting ability, and "Star" power.

I want to see movies where they don't hold back.

There are some good stories out there but what would sell?
A Good Script, Director, Producer, Production Team, Actors...can make it work.
