How do boxers add all that weight within a 24hr process. From weigh-in to fight night, boxers can pack on alot of weight! Joshua Clottey once packed on 23lbs within 24hrs, and its common to see a boxer packing on 15lbs right before the fight. How the hell do they do it?

    Spot on Po3.

Remember the body is made up of something like 60 to 65% water, and a litre of water weighs a kilogram.

So it doesn't take that long to replenish body weight once you become extremely dehydrated.

Does this mean that they weigh themselves in as light as they can for the weigh in THEN bulk themselves out to over the weight limit in the time they have before the fight?

they dehydrate and lose all the water and some even starve themselves, by the next day they put all the water and nutrition back in.

joshua clottey came in 170lbs against corrales for a 147lb fight!!
