Yeah, you could probably lose the same amount of weight on a 2000 calorie diet, and keep some of your muscle too.
Dude, don't be so obsessed with calories, you'll be miserable. Just try to eat natural foods, avoid packaged ****, watch your bad carbs, and you'll be fine. The amount of food you're planning on eating is ok if you're an 8 year old girl. There's no way you can keep that kind of diet up.
Wow... if you're boxing daily...and using this diet..I have to ask, how do you possibly expect to have enough energy to get you through the week or even through the day? How much do you weigh? I would personally consider this a snack or a small meal and no I'm not fat (5'6 150lbs) and I'm relatively lean. You're getting like 50g of protein....definitely not enough. Point is, divide your macros (40/40/20, protein/carbs/fat) and don't even bother counting calories. Eat every 2-3 hours..5-6 meals a day..evenly proportioned.
Forget that you'll end up losing muscles mass, forget that you'll experience premature exhaustion, and worry about the mood swings. You will be miserable and I feel bad for all the people around you who will likely receive some abuse from you because of it.
That wouldn't even cover your BMR. I was going to say it looks like the diet of a 12 year old girl but i'm sure a 12 year old girl eats more than that in a day. You're an idiot.
Apart from the obvious lack of caloric value, nutritious value is just as horrible. Heinz soup is ****, if you want good soup make it from vegetables. Maybe a piece of fruit, wow a single piece of fruit on an entire day, maybe. Brown rice, that's just a little bit better than fries. Why the hell would you eat coleslaw three times a day, where's the cruciferous veggies for example? How will you get vitamins and minerals, anti-oxidants and other essentials? You'll crash within a week. I would. What, make that two days. One thousand kilo-calories, ****ing horrible.
But tomorrows 1000 calorie meal i have... Protein shake for breakfast Some fruit Pasta source - mixed with Tuna fish, and some pasta! for dinner another portion of above 2 hours later finishing with a tin of oxtail heinz soup! thoughts?
Did the soup keep you "full" till the next morning? I already gave you my thoughts btw, and so did many others. If you stick to that diet you'll crash within days, even if you don't work out at all. It's not even enough to keep you breathing. But good luck with it mate.
If you're not crashing out, it may also be that you're actually underestimating the amount of calories. It's possible that you're already eating more than 1000 calories per day. Because if you are only getting 1000 cal/day, after a few days I'll be amazed if you're still able to work-out.
Jesus....all I see is tuna (And eating it more than 2-3 times a week is bad since it has one of the highest % of mercury compared to other fishes) Buy some chicken, beef, other fish (salmon, tilapia, cod etcetc) oatmeal, peanut butter, veggies, eggs, milk, sweet potatoes, fruits i can go on and on..variety, you need it.
God I would go insane if I ate that diet and would probably be a physical wreck, I would never be able to recover from any form of exercise on so little food. And as RDJ mentioned it is seriously lacking in essential nutrients. I always eat between 5-10 portions of veg and fruit a day.
