Boxers don't retire. Particularly undefeated ones. Mayweather will be back.

He'll be back sooner than later. Boxers just don't retire in their primes. They're always forced out after losing badly or in the rare case (ala Lennox Lewis), they realize their better days are behind them and they get out while they can. If this 'retirement' lasts more than 9 months I'll be shocked. Mayweather is too much of an attention ***** to stay gone for long.

Right. Noone retires in Floyd's situation.

Ego and money are too big to deny, once he's been out of the ring a little while.

If there's money outside boxing for Floyd, then it's over. From the looks of ABC and the WWE, there is plenty.

I never take it seriously when a boxer says he is going to retire.

If he comes back, I hope he does the right thing and fights the winner of Cotto/Margarito

the main reason why pbf RETIRED is the possibility of him fighting COTTO!

he retired EARLIER so as not to be too obvious that he is avoiding Cotto!

in other words he'd rather retire than face Cotto! :good

frankly speaking, I'm not surprised he retired!!!!:D
