Khan's situation is only the third incident I've heard recently, but why is it so difficult for boxers and trainers to get in for camps and matches.

Why can't Golden Boy and Top Rank sponsor these guys to get in.

If fruit pickers can get into the country to work for pennies on the hour.

Why can't Pro boxers and their trainers earning many thousands/if not hundreds of thousands on a single match get in?

If I'm missing something feel free to add it?

fruit pickers generally dont get in the correct way. taking the correct channel to get into the country can be very difficult which leads many to do it illegally. for some i hear its hell and others it was easy to get visas but this is what i hear from my friends from many different countries.

I still don't see why it should be so hard.

    Khan is from Britain.
It should be much easier for him maybe compared to Clottey's trainer.
There are different agreements with immigration for each country.

It's not like he's moving to the country either.
He's just on contract to work here for a while.

And as long as the company sponsoring is reputable, it shouldn't be so difficult.

Werd. It's not like Khan will run out into the night after the fight to join the dishwashers union illegally.

Notice the hue of all of the fighters with issues...

America is getting pretty strange lately and anyone thinking flags matter more than other issue is probably sadly mistaken.
