Boxers getting into street-fights...

Vargas has got into a few out here.. Allegedly he generally loses, not that I have seen it first hand though. My boy was at the 24 hour fitness the other day wearing an everlast shirt and Feroz looked at him for a longer than the standard amount of time. Guess he looks about 220+ and doesn't have a very intense work out routine..

I went on a few dates with a girl he was into around the time he was in the olympics, she said he told her he was going to beat my ass... Nothing ever came of it fortunately.

A lot of the old school guys used to fight all the damn time, in todays world an every day joe can't even have a fair street fight with out all kinds of drama, legal and otherwise... So I doubt many do anymore.

I read somewhere that Mayorga and Alexis Arguello got into a streetfight a few years ago.

 

Jeff Chandler beat a couple of guys into serious condition after a car wreck, plenty of boxers have gotten into street fights. A lot of boxers are seriously violent people every minute of every day, that's how they got into the game in the first place.

 

Zab's stupid ass is known for walking through bad neighborhoods at night with a good buzz. A few years ago he got his gold chain jacked by some kids in Brooklyn near Bedford Stuy

 

He hasnt, the hittman claims in his book that he hasnt had a fight since school.

 

Good post, i used to fight all the time, i thought it was cool, nowdays i have seen what violence is a pathetic idiotic thing to do. Im 25 now, and i fear the fellas, about 17 to 23, because i know at that age some men are just crazy.

5 or 4 years ago, after the 2 forrest fights, i read a issue of ring magazine (i think it was the ring) in a book store with a mayorga interview. in the interview he said something like, in nicaragua while riding a bicycle he crashed into a another guy on a bicycle. the guy pulls a gun on mayorga and mayorga beats the **** out of him. of course mayorga may be making **** up, but i see no reason for him to do so.

 

Ali and Frazier had that one in a tv show not in the street.Was pretty nice them breaking chairs and things there

I have a mate who was a good welterweight pro boxer, who had street fight
last week with three black blokes. One was massive but he done them all, he is a tough guy in the pavement arena the likes of mayweather, would be like man fighting boy. In the street its the best streetfighter who wins,not the more skilled pugilist.
