What fighters do you think were or could be the best streetfighters..example i think tyson would destroy lennox in a streetfight..Everyone knows when your tall in the street your at a disadvantage..i dont kno.just bored i guess lol
Most of them would do serious, serious damage to people. I mean just picture a guy like Lennox Lewis or David Tua hitting someone with a bare-fist. Roberto Duran had a reputation as a street-fighter. Hasim Rahman used to fight a lot in the streets, and he was an enforcer for a Baltimore drug dealing crew (I guess he was like Wee-Bay or Cutty). Sonny Liston, Hector Camacho Sr, Mike Tyson, Alex Garcia, George Foreman, Iran Barkley....all had reputations for getting in their share of fights in the streets.
More defensive fighters, with average or relatively weak power as professionals, still would do serious damage with a bare closed fist. Cory Stinks used to get in a lot of street fights. He'd smash the average joe in a bar fight, quickly. You don't train to hurt people for a living without being able to do serious damage.
Marvin Hagler would have been a great streetfighter IMO Agressive, ruthless and incredibly tough, you get the impression that if someone actually made the mistake of hitting him it'd just fire him up more. He'd be my pick Sage
nigel benn jeff fenech(got a rep as being a real hard man) carl thompson steve collins mitch blood green mike dokes graciano rocchigani
Well Tyson did whip Mitch Green, leader of the Black Spades, up in Harlem a few years after their actually boxing contest - which went the distance. Green is 6'5, similar to Lewis, although in another way different being Lennox is the Lion. From what I've heard, Tyson destroyed Green's face. Doesn't matter much because I'm pretty sure Tyson would just bite Lewis' leg if they were ever in a schuffle....oh wait, that actually happened.
Tough, strong guys, compact HWs like Tyson or McCall, also Tua, Brewster, Peter or Chagaev are the hardest guys to fight on the street
