    These days the fight would have been stopped way before the end...15 rounds, and same day weigh ins, unbelieveable. Your old man definately made the right decision not allowing you to see that, however uplifting and aweinspiring it was.

    Don't know about Quigley but wouldnt be surprised they both move in the same circles. Dilks was on the door of Kingdom nightclub some super fancy place near Matthew St i think but he sparked 2 blokes clean out who provoked him and got in a bit of trouble for it was int he echo a while back so dont know if he is still there now.

    Also Avid's favourite Paul Smith was a resident DJ at society nightclub and wrote a few hits for Ultrabeat

    yeah, heard he gave that up to concentrate fully on boxing.

    Think he guest dj'd in mood i think it was last bank holiday.

    Dilks has got the "bouncer" look though :bbb

    Sorry to but in ,but I can give you some Canadian content.Former Commonwealth Light Champ,Billy Irwin is a security guard at Casino Niagara and former Commonwealth Light heavy Champ Willy Featherstone owns his own appliance repair shop in Toronto.:good

    For the Scousers. When I was young, early 80's, Tommy Molloy was on the door of The She club. he was a former British Welterweight champ. I thought he was old but looking back he was only a couple of years older than I am now.
