Boxers MIA

Romanov was supposed to fight Guzman for the IBF lightweight title, but because of Guzman's suspension in Mississippi for the Campbell debacle, the whole card got scrapped. For some reason or another, the IBF then revoked his mandatory status, I think because he pulled out from a fight against Fernando Angulo (on the Darchinyan-Agbeko undercard) because he was having visa problems. Haven't heard anything about him since then.

 

I, for one, want to know what happened to Ricardo Torres.

Torres moved up to welterweight, then disappeared in Venezuela after a couple of smaller fights.

Another Venezuelan who has disappeared is Alejandro Berrio. I know he's around because I've heard of him being used as a sparring partner, but I have no idea why he hasn't made any fights in ages.

 

I thought Hide would have had a shot at a CW belt by now... where is he?

Speaking of cruiserweights... where the hell is Troy Ross??? He wins The Contender, and looks great doing it, and then just falls of the face of the earth? wtf?

 

Chrsitian Bejarano... went missing as well 2 years to b exact to this day I dont know what happened.

He was a top Lightweight prospect but he just disappeared all of a sudden.

 

Word had it he was going to challange Katsidis if Marquez choose to vacate.

But I haven't heard anything recenetly.
