Yes he took a good shot. He said the first time he was really stunned in a fight was Olivares, it was a new experience. Agustin Senin hurt him as well early on but he got through that and it went the 15.

You seem to massively overate Rocky he has one of the weakest resumes on your whole list. I like Rocky but he has to be the most overrated fighter ever. Also Holmes would dominated him.

    Casamayor:
    1. Olympic Gold medal
    2. Took WBA belt from Baek who was basically a mini-Hamsho
    3. Made 4 130 defenses, one against Robert Garcia.
    4. Went 2-1 against Corrales, some say 3-0
    5. Took Nate Campbell, Katsidis and Kid Diamond’s 0’s (robbery draw)
    6. His prime loses were only by a point or two to Castillo, Corrales, and Freitas
    7. WBC 135 champ (had to beat Corrales to get it)
    8. Damn near earned a draw with Marquez while semi-shot when Marquez was pfp.

But he’s NEVER considered an ATG. I think it’s because he didn’t get fights against really high profile fighters other than Marquez.

PS Benitez beat Duran at 154 around the same time as Laing

Huh, I thought I escaped **** like this when I moved here from YouTube comment sections...

Marciano's resume is underrated as ****. His resume (wins) are easily better than the likes of Holmes, Tyson and Dempsey. It's just not as good as someone like Ali of course. Jersey Joe Walcott? Ezzard Charles? Rex Layne? Past prime Joe Louis? Roland LaStarza? Archie Moore during his LHW reign? Good competition

Holmes vs Marciano is debatable (though that list was supposed to be greatness not h2h), but imo Marciano would break Holmes's ribs.

I don't consider Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier and George Foreman ATGs. They wouldn't make my all-weights top 250.

Marcianista brain virus. Very sad thing :(

    Truth is:
    This content is protected

39y old Walcott, LHW Charles whose resume is full of losses before and after Rocky, the Ghost of Joe Louis, 39y old Moore? Is this a pensioner gang? Rex Who? Fat Cockel?

Please stop comparing this with top notch HW-resumes and call in an doc! There´s help out there!

Holmes, who´d got up from a Shavers Bomb, maybe on of the heaviest landed punches in the history of combat sports, wouldn´t bother about the 185lb pitty pat attrition Rocky could dish out! As would most of the other real HW champs, who would rock the **** out of him.

Please stop spreading that brain virus further around the board! Thanks!

I used to watch youtube vids by Wilson Kayden and he used to say fans compared Pac to Duran.

Homes should never have been hit with that right hand though, Shavers was predictable and slow, Walcott was far more elusive than Holmes, but Marciano caught him with another iconic right hand, that would have landed on Holmes, a bigger man`s chin isn`t any stronger than a smaller man like Walcott, having said that Holmes probably would have got back up some how, but Rock would have finished him off he was a better finisher than Shavers, certainly not because of power but because of hand speed and how many shots he got off when going in for the kill.

Whitaker was a high volume puncher though, specifically with the jab.
