Noeadays everyone is scared to lose. You lose one fight and you are damaged goods. Everyone follows the Floyd blueprint to try and be undefeated for marketing purposes. It makes for a sport full of ducking, best not fighting the best and therefore a niche sport. Losing is part of the game. Look at Ali, Duran, jake La Motta or Pacquiao. All have losses but dared to be great despite. It shouldnt be about undefeated. If everyone had balls like Manny the sport would be among the most popular. Sure, the corrupt judges, multiple belts ruin a lot but the most important factor is the best fights not happening. Its a disgrace fights like Spence vs Bud or Fury vs AJ are not happening for years. Yet we talk about Floyd fighting youtubers like some fcking wwe event. Boxers need to be like Manny or Canelo and fight the best. Those type of guys shouldnt be a dying breed.
