The Wlad who knocked down AJ would have made mince meat out of the plodding and slow Ortiz that was beaten by Wilder.
Before the fight with Wilder was agreed most people was ranking Ortiz number two or three in HW division. Some people even said that he is the best of them all. Many people here also said that if Wilder really fights him and win they will finally give him credit.
yeh thats what i mean but i'd have to write a separate sentence for each, being economical. i am like that. sorry it is misleading, thanks for urging me to be more verbose.
Ortiz is a physical mess. Id say more than just Wlad from Joshuas resume beats the Ortiz that very nearly beat Wilder.
I had Ortiz 4th going into that fight and Wilder got credit from most non biased people here, but boxing is always a case of what you did for me lately and if Wilder goes back to cherry picking opponents from Haymon's stable what little good will he got for the Ortiz win will quickly vanish. It's also a case of where comes success pressure and expectation follows. The same happened to Joshua. Prior to the Wlad fight Pulev was talked about as an opponent and it was regarded as a good next defence. Then he beat Wlad and when the Pulev mandatory came round people trashed it as a fight. Peoples expectations had changed, same has happened with Wilder after the Ortiz win. In a way it's a compliment, though a back handed one.
God, what a joke, agenda driven post. Old Wlad would probably have won, but its not a definite. Parker would have been close to 50/50, maybe 40/60 for me. No one else would have had more than a 20% chance.
I think Ortiz beats Takam, Breazeale Whyte and even Parker. Parker I'd give a chance of beating Ortiz by decision but I think its unlikely. I think Ortiz might be able to beat Klitschko at the time Joshua beat him likely by stoppage if he does.
