Who is ortizs best win? He's an utter myth championed by borderline casuals trying to look knowledgeable. He barely beat an unprepared and out of shape DaveAllen.

    Nonsense.

Whyte dealt with a fully motivated and prepared Dave Allem far more easily than the joke version that fought Ortiz.
King Kong is the caduals champion

How could Ortiz violently KO any of them, if he couldn't put a significant dent in Allen?

Ortiz was the smaller and slower man against Wilder.....and still took more rounds!

That doesn't mean Ortiz is a monster, it exposes Wilder.

    Great thread.

I think Gary Cornish would've stopped Ortiz or at least won on points. Cornish is a beast, I admire his boxing skills.

I also give pretty good chance for Michael Sprott and Matt Skelton that fought AJ to beat Ortiz too. Maybe Airich if he comes in shape. Kevin Johnson and Zambano Love would've had their chance to KO Ortiz too.

    Wlad comfortably beats him.

The rest are debatable, depending on where you sit.

Personally I reckon Parker beats him, and possibly Whyte.

Povetkin and Joshua haven’t fought yet, but I put Povetkin ahead of Ortiz, quite comfortably.

The stock of Ortiz has gone up recently, simply as a means to up Wilder’s stock.

Ortiz hadn't ever fought anyone who could punch their way through cobwebs that had been spun by gay spiders prior to facing Donkey and his head has always been a magnet for right hands, unless that is you consider Malik Scott, a Tony Thompson who was almost as old as him, and Bryant Jennings punchers?

Here's Alexander Pov who AJ is fighting next stopping Ortiz in the amateurs, dropping him on his ass at least once in the process. Notice how Pov can't miss with his right hand as soon as it dawns on him that Ortiz's noggin is a magnet for them.

That's not Sasha Povetkin, that's Sasha Povernov who represents Germany :)

    There's been some mistake
    I mean really please,
You're saying that someone defeated Ortiz?

    Well that cannot be,
    It just isn't so,
This man is invulnerable to any foe,

    He's got Cuban skills
    And that southpaw stance
His movement is silky his feet seem to dance,

    Ok he was only
    Second best in his state,
But thats only because his progress was late,

    The boogeyman must
    With respect be treated,
Aside from Deontay he's still undefeated,

    So although he's no record,
And he's long due his pension,
Defeat and Ortiz we'll never mention

He would've been pretty good as a pro, far better than Dimitrenko, Hoffman or any other German or German-based recent HWs.

What is it with German boxing at the moment? Why do they struggle to bring through any domestic talent?

Stop it with the Wilder bashing. I prefer Joshua, but dont sleep on Ortiz just because you hate Wilder. Wlad would beat him by UD and Parker would probably scrape a MD home by solid work rate and movement to make life difficult for Ortiz. The others on your list would get beaten.

Parker-Whyte will be a closer fight than Ortiz-Whyte, despite of what I wrote above. Ortiz is all wrong for the come forward fighter that is Whyte.

Takam is a good fighter but lacks the pop to keep Ortiz off him.

Breazeale... come on, Ortiz could fight another 10 years and still be faster than that big lump.
