School ? hmmm, wouldn´t say that..... Andre Ward said that Nick Diaz is great and IS a talented boxer.....
Silva didn't do that good IMO. He slapped with his punches and couldn't get his footwork down. Still the best MMA fighter alive!
Well Nick didn't look that good vs Omar. Let's just put it that way. And everybody who saw the video thought the same
In order to get your hand game up, you most definitely have to see a boxing trainer, or speak to other boxers.
well he was fighting an amateur whos coach says "you wont listen, this is why we lost our last fight!" so you have to judge him based on who hes in with lol
these mma guys have some good boxing skills and they don't get emberrassed into a sparring with a pro boxer imo put an elite/good mma guy against an elite/good boxer and the mma guy would go about 4-5 rounds , maybe more on boxing rules but if you put these two on mma rules the boxer would be finished in the first 30 seconds / minute of the first round :yep
Agreed that that's what would happen most of the time, but it's an asymmetrical comparison. MMA fighters have all of the skills to survive in a boxing ring, but boxers have only 1/3 at best of the skills needed to survive in the cage.
I also heard Diaz got a gift decision against Alfonso Rocha, that he should be 0-1 as a pro, but ive never seen that fight so i cant say its true obviously
the dude silva was sparring is less than a mediocre boxer. there are amateur boxers at the wildcard that would put silva to sleep.
