boxers talking in 3rd person

Jack Dempsey was watching a documentary on Jack Dempsey last night and in it Jack Dempsey referred to himself as Jack Dempsey, it doesn't appear to be a new thing

I think that Matthew Hatton is extremely annoying the way he does it, maybe because it's Matthew Hatton perhaps...:yep

Some are better than others at it but the likes of Nigel Benn and Carl Froch with their CV's have that bit more credibility...:yep

You will note that I did not include David Haye in my last paragraph...:yep

One thing is certain, if Beeston is the presiding Judge in any cases of boxers talking in the third person then they are well and truly ****ed...

I hate it. The oonly person who can get away with talking in the 3rd person is The Rock.

 

It would be great if people with everyday jobs did it too.

Hatton was always doing it, paractically every interview. " I think were gonna see the real ricky hatton in there tonight ". Head wrecking !

 

I've started doing it at work - mind you Kid Lucky was on parliament TV last week and in Private Eye and other papers over the last fortnight, was approached by a young women in the street last week because of it with work but that's what Kid Lucky is all about.

Then again Kid Lucky is like everyone else on here and thinks that talking like that is hillarious and is doing it only to cause intense irritation for Kid Lucky's work colleagues.

 

When they are in the ring they are a completely different person from when they are outside off the ring.
