boxers that are faster than floyd mayweather?

    I think floyds speed is pretty unmatched most of the time people underestimate his speed. but if you can list fighters in history that match his hand speed or are faster please do, I know fighters like Roy Jones Jr, pacquiao, sugar ray leonard, camacho, ali, khan might be a little tiny bit faster but floyd kills him in timing. zab judah might have matched floyds speed for a couple of rounds but we all know what happened after. So how many fighters are faster than floyd?

    I think he's pretty fast but I wouldn't consider him THE fastest, as far as pure hand speed goes. He doesn't throw the quickest combos but his 1-2 is nearly unmatched. It's not so much his speed though, his timing is spot on. When you time an opponent correctly, it'll create the illusion you're extremely fast.

    Lots of prime fighters from the past are faster than current Floyd.

    Anyway, meld rick Taylor and Macho Camacho were much quicker than any version of Floyd.

    Khan is lightning too. Shame about the rest of him.

    yes that is true, since speed isnt everything, the zab judah vs mayweather fight showed that since zabs speed was on par with floyds with the first 5 rounds of the fight, then after that floyds technical prowess, defense, and his comfort inside the boxing ring showed that speed isnt everything for boxing, I was just talking about general hand speed
