Men who have enough footage of em to where highlight or knockout reels of them could be made, but nobody has enough of a preference for em to put in the effort and make a tape. Men like, say... Jesse Ferguson.
Jack Britton fought well over 300 times, & no one has bothered to put even a single 1 of his fights on YT. Such laziness!
I've got many of his fights on tape (No, you can't have them), but I'd much rather upload highlights of Bonecrusher Smith. As Rainier Wolfcastle once said- "The nerds shall inherit the Earth."
Imagine if the Jimmy Jacobs estate did the right thing and allowed his legendary collection of rare boxing films to be digitized and shared?
Whatever happened to Bill Cayton's much-ballyhooed collection? I remember a big deal about ESPN buying it up, then it seems they just tossed all the fights in a vault & forgot about them.
I hope that one day when I have "ancient" tapes of Usyk - Briedis, that I'll be able to gatekeep all the same.
