    Willie Pep, Billy Conn

Joe Louis also showed signs of paranoia later in life as well, be it either brain damage or cocaine abuse.

Oddly enough, there happens to be quite a few "defensive atgs" who show up in this list..

    Ali, Whitaker, Benitez, Pep, etc

I think a lot of the damage comes from sparring.

yeah the damage comes in the gym...the defensive guys woulda taken some licks in the gym perfecting there defense. Toney once said he used to get bashed when practicing his shoulder rolls.

This is a good thread. Mike Tyson definetely has no brain damage.

Battling Nelson is a sad case as well as the Quarry brothers.

James Toney dosen't talk clearly now.

Gerald McCllean is a well noted example.

Sugar ray robinson was in a very bad condition some years after he retired. He's family first thought he had started smoking weed because of he's slow blurry speech.
A very sad way for a Icon to end he's days

True. 200 plus fights is very likely to do that to your brain.

Can anyone confirm or deny Thomas Hearns is punchy? I've heard mixed reports.
