    Holyfield had Tyson's number to such an extent that Tyson had to resort to biting to get out of another beating.

    This is a good example too. Holyfield definitely had Tyson's number. Teddy Atlas has talked about it. Holyfield has talked about it.

    Ivan Robinson had Gatti’s number, which is also a big reason why I’m against his inclusion in the HOF.

    Montell Griffin has Toney’s number.

    Jermaine Taylor and Chad Dawson had Hopkins’s number.

    JMM and Pacquiao is the obvious one that springs to mind.

    However you scored the fight he just seemed to have a style that caused Pacquiao problems

    I think Tyson was just a better fighter, end of. When people talk about a guy having another fighter's number, I tend to see it in the context that they are not necessarily a better fighter overall, just have the style and the skillset to beat that particular guy.
