O yes, Joe Louis is definetely one as well. And I said holmes arguably, not saying its definitive, some people do feel he dodged thomas, but it could be considered

Although he had a lot of the 'work' done by others. Was there realistically anyone left for Marciano to fight, when he called it quits?

Hagler had no one to play with at 160 until Tommy et al moved up/came out of retirement.

Hopkins cleaned up the 160lbers too, in the early part of the Century.

**** Hasegawa; Rafa' never fought Sahaprom. Rafa' wasn't even the no.1 IMO.

Admittedly I would've picked Hozumi to beat Rafa' back on the day but with hindsight Marquez would've caught and stopped Hasegawa at some point I imagine.

yeah **** Rafa. he didn't clean out no division.

Benny Leonard and Rocky Marciano have the best claims imo.

With Ohba dead Bus Station had ruthlessly destroyed Betulio Gonzalez, outboxed Salavarria and beaten highly ranked Cabanela (who had just fought Ohba for his title)

Before moving up he'd effectively cleaned out flyweight, as the no.1/2 was dead.

Antonio 'Kid Pambele' Cervantes should get some consideration.

    Can't see anybody he avoided.

i know what you're saying but by definition, neither has until they beat the other. they are two boxers, not one family
