I also met Michael Buffer, and I drove behind the President of the Boxing Hall of Fame. How do I know he was the Pres. of the BHOF? Because the ass hole had a License Plate frame that read, "President of Boxing Hall of Fame".
ive met some fighters.... but my favorite encounter was lampley in the wing that leads to the grand garden arena....it was like 3 in the afternoon on the day of pac/hatton....he was dressed and ready to go...looked like he was on his way to a production meeting...he had a guy that appeared to be "briefing" him that was walking with him......i said his name loudly as he walked by me and he looked at me....i said "can i get a pic"...he started walking slower and you could see he was debating it...and he was like "uhhhh.....no"....it was actually kind of funny....me and my boy still laugh about it
so that's what he's really like:rofl:roflatsch He's always too hyper and out of control during fights.
haha yeah it was funny....he had to be on his way to some kind of meeting or something important....like i said...there was a guy walking with him that was talking to him the whole time...and they were walking kind of fast..... it was so odd though...he started walking slower when i asked him...i thought he was gonna budge....and he literally said "uuuuhhhh....no"....and i kinda laughed and he kind of grinned....
haha i know...i took a pic with juan diaz in vegas...hes doing the fist thing...me...im standin there holdin a ricky hatton mask and im on my way to being bent....
I've driven Shannon Briggs + Zab judah around in my car when they came to Wales for the WBC night of champions. Also met Carl froch, Calzaghe, Kessler, Earnie Shavers (top bloke), bonecrusher smith, tim witherspoon, vitali klitschko, Roberto duran and a heap of others at the same event. Was an awesome weekend!
seeing him grown another head in the mosley fight and getting koed in the second one was nice too. too bad when he grew another head, he couldn't grow another brain. i just found him very immature and ignorant. but apparently his friends thought it was funny or maybe they are scared not to laugh at his stupid sense of humor.
he comes across as one of those people, that never grew up. typical case of you can take a person out of the ghetto or slum but you can't take the ghetto or slum away from the person. being rich and having class is two entirely different things.
I was once 15 feet away from Roy Jones Jr. I was so excited you would have thought I was a 13 year old girl at a ****** Bieber concert. But the Mrs. wouldn't let me approach him because he was with a lady and kids (assuming his wife and kids) at a restaurant. He was dressed kind of casual with sunglasses on, and hat. (So I am assuming he was incognito and did not want to be spotted or bothered, or so the wife thought) That was in 2004, Don't think I'll get another change ah well....
I would have most certainly politely asked him for an autograph as I'm sure he would have obliged. Jones before hoes, dude.
