If we had an event in a fantasy world where all these guys fought and where in their primes, who would of came out on top? I picked guys that could match up pretty well with each other. All fights are 5 rounds and the boxers get a year of training for the event. These are my predictions, do you agree or disagree? Semmy Schilt vs Wladimir Klitschko I'm going with Semmy Schilt by stoppage here, I believe there would be many clinches and messy at times but Klitschko doesn't do well with people bigger than him, while Klitschko has the better boxing but Schilt's powerful jabs and use of teeps/kicks would wear Klitschko down and finish him off. Ernesto Hoost vs Mike Tyson I'd go with Tyson here by knockout in rounds 2 or 3, no doubt Hoost's leg kicks would give Tyson plenty of trouble early on but I believe Tyson's forward pressure would be too much for Hoost who at times had trouble with guys who had lots of physical strength and when pressured would back up on a straight line, was known for being chinny which is a recipe for disaster with a prime Mike Tyson. Tyson's crouching/peek a boo style could result in possibly eating knees though so fighting like he did against Donovan Ruddock would serve him much better in Kickboxing. Rico Verhoeven vs Tyson Fury Both of these guys have been sparring partners for years and Fury's camp have made Verhoeven have some of the best boxing in heavyweight kickboxing history, they are also the two best heavyweights right now in their respective sports. Fury's height/reach and movement would serve him very well in kickboxing, but those skinny legs would not serve him well against a guy like Rico whose known for his strength, athletic/technical ability and brutal kicks. I see Verhoeven taking a split decision having problems with the boxing of Fury and possibly being knocked down but his kicks would be too much. Mighty Mo vs Rocky Marciano Mighty Mo wasn't the most skilled kickboxer but the man was a 285 pound walking tank with a vicious right hand. Marciano is the more skilled fighter here and MIGHT hurt Mo but the 100 pound weight advantage is going to be too much here and I see Mo taking it by knockout in 2 or 3 rounds. Remy Bonjasky vs Muhammad Ali Now this is an interesting one, If you love Ali and want to get into kickboxing I say Remy is the one for you. His defensive style and heavy reliance on movement was great to watch, he had little boxing ability and relied on kicks/knees but could knock people down with punches due to people not expecting them from him. Pressure was the way to give Remy problems so Ali would have to come forward here and not rely on jabbing and moving as that would play into Remy's gameplan with kicks and flying attacks. I believe Ali could move forward, stay close and pressure Remy making him have to throw hands and less kicks. This is probably the hardest prediction to make but I could see it being a split decision for Remy who got awarded plenty of close fights. Hong Man Choi vs Nikolai Valuev Time for the freak show! Both 7ft+ giants, Choi was never great as using his reach and had a low work rate but he had some vicious knees. Valuev has the much better boxing here and ability to take a shot. This would be very messy I believe but I can see Valuev taking a unanimous decision.
