i have to disagree with you. in his fourth fight against marquez we saw flashes of brilliance from manny "the destroyer" pacquiao. i dont know what fight u were watching, but what i saw from pacquiao was incredible. he was feinting well, setting traps, moving in and out with ease and making marquez miss a lot. you're right about one thing though: he is very impatient. and that's why he got knocked out. he completely dominated bradley who himself is a very good boxer. in his third fight against marquez we saw an improved defense from pacquiao. he used good head and upper body movement to make marquez miss time and time again. i thought pacquiao lost that fight, but every round was competitive. i think he lost at least seven rounds, but it wasn't a mismatch as some folks make it out to be. if pacquiao chooses to box, he can beat anyone in the 140 and 147 divisions, except for mayweather and marquez. i'm talking boxing. he can outbox anyone in those divisions. manny pacquiao is a very complete fighter and a very complete boxer.
his four fights against marquez were competitive. juan manuel márquez is considered a master boxer. if manny weren't himself a master boxer, márquez would have completely dismantled him and that's not the case. i rest my case.
The question is not being answered. Hatton was good in every category. When you fight someone who is great in almost every category then good becomes average.
Timothy Bradley lacks power. I would say James Toney in his prime seemed to have no weaknesses whatsoever but wasn't a supreme athlete either. Evander Holyfield is another, he was strong and seemed to have no real weaknesses at the time. Bernard Hopkins in his prime is another. I think Timothy Bradley's weakness is power. If he had power he would be knocking guys out and wouldn't have had much difficulty. The difference between him and Mayweather is power, Mayweather can knock a guy out or keep a guy honest at 147 but Bradley hasn't developed the power to do it and that is why he's having difficulty. Rigondeux is a boxer who is good in all categories and Donaire is another. These two are currently in their prime and I see no weaknesses at all in their game. Rigondeux has a suspect chin but if his chin is good he can beat any fighter in any era.
Marquez did completely dismantle him. What fights were you watching? I don't see how Manny won any of them. Maybe he won the first but he lost all the others.
What do you guys think of Austin Trout? He seems pretty solid all around even though nothing in particular really stands out.
