Exactly mayweather doesn't fight on the inside alot, he doesn't like that distance. Only in some fights like in the Cotto fight he stayed in the pocket more often. His inside game is much better than Ward's since Floyd is a much cleaner fighter and uses real boxing skills.

    One example. Cool.

A whole bunch of fighters make that move. Most of the time the opponent moves away, Kessler didn't. Pacquiao, the way he lunges in in caveman form, would be a headbutting billygoat if his opponents didn't move away or if he was taller... It's a part of the sport.

He or Bradley are not in the class of Holyfield, Hopkins, or Mares when it comes to dirty fighting... Although in fairness Holyfield is not in Mares' class of dirtiness either.

Theres other examples of Ward's blatant headbutts, this was just the biggest one.

Oh so because other fighter's are dirty fighters that means it's ok for Ward to do it?

Pacquiao doesn't fight dirty, theres a common misconception that "Oh headbutts are part of the sport when fighters get close.". No way, to headbutt someone hard and come out completely scathed means that it was intentional. A proper head butt is as follows:

-headbutt using the part of his just below his hairline and slightly to the left to avoid a big vein in the forehead from being damaged

-land the headbutt above the eyebrow (best case scenario) the nose, face and soft part of the forehead are decent places too.

These are what the #HeadbuttBoys do, they strategically land their headbutts and make it look unintentional.

No. I don't need to be to see a hypejob whose cleaned out a division of somewhat weak competition overall. Juan has a better victory than anyone Ward can ever hope to face in his lifetime and he is somehow under Ward. He's also a dirty fighter who clinches excessively at times and relies on headbutts.

    #HeadbuttBoys
    Evander Holyfield
    Tim Bradley
    Rodel Mayol
    Bernard Hopkins
    Andre Ward

that's exactly what I was thinking when I shouted "Swift" in the mix. People overlook him cause he's not brilliant at anything but his solid all around game, his age, his intangibles like chin, patience/calmness in the heat of battle and fighting heart tell me he'll be around at the top level for a long time.

you're totally right though, it's why so many wrote him off vs Khan and will do the same vs Matthysseb because Khan and Matthysse have that flash that catches your eye right away. Garcia is underrated as hell, people will see.
