He actually smiles quite a lot because he's an affable dude but his tics in the ring can seem somewhat unsettling, like the tweakings of a deranged killer.

 

KD never claimed 7 nor did anyone else I know off, but he does look around 2 inches taller than Blake Griffin there who is listed as 6 foot 9. And that aligns with this article:

If Tyson Chandler is 6’11 and change as you say … then why does he look much more than only 2.5 inches taller than 6’9 Blake Griffin in that photo. That looks like at least a 4 inch gap.
