Peter Quillin gets fat sitting around getting Haymon jizz and not boxing.
98% of the heavyweight division. That's why Wlad reigned so long and why Wilder and Joshua can clear out the division before fighting each other. They are all fat.
That fat sack of trash Povetkin takes roids and is still fat. He's no power lifter though.

 

Duran was one of the most famous. Besides his SRL 2 loss weight fiasco, Duran would be walking around at Cruiserweight late in his career.

 

Roberto Duran had the reputation for enjoying himself between fights, famously in between Leonard 1 and 2.

James Toney was another high profile example of a master boxer who lacked discipline. Apparently liked a large soda while hitting the heavy bag and wouldn't share any of his 40 piece bucket of fried chicken.

 

Hatton.

Any hardcore UK fan will remember seeing him on SKY in-between fights doing commentary or guest spots, and he was enormous. Easily 4-5 stone (around 70lbs) over his fighting weight. He was obese.

Hatton gets some stick on this topic but his was perhaps more publicised. I remember Moorer balooning up quite heavily between the Botha and Holyfield fights and Riddick Bowe was hardly disciplined when not in camp. James Toney perhaps. There are other fights who also piled on the weight as they progressed through their career - David Tua for example. Still, he was as strong as an ox and always had the propensity / natural disposition to be thick set.

Ricky Hatton, Fernando Vargas, Roberto Duran & Felix Trinidad are the worse offenders I know of. I heard tales that Jake LaMotta used to balloon up to 200 pounds between middleweight fights.

 

Duran used to blow up to near 200 pounds between fights. Leonard had been advised to make the rematch as soon as possible before Duran could fully recover.

 

Ali used to get out of shape and sometimes would fight out of shape..............

 

Duran is the poster boy for this thread.
