Norton is a great suggestion - there’s also the angle of his being a loving, single dad whose own son went on to his own elite sporting successes - the ups and downs between them, Ken’s forays into acting - some nice facts and scenes to insert, like the Ken Norton Rule, Ken stealing Ali’s thunder with ladies in the hotel that time…Tex Cobb banging on his hotel room door wanting to continue their fight…lots of material there…lol, Tex could play himself, make him look younger via special effects…
I've heard that it's getting made...Netflix is on it...number four in the KNIVES OUT series. Daniel Craig is gonna get to the bottom of what happened that night in Brazil. In a nod to inclusiveness and wokism, Gatti will be played by Jaden Smith. And in an even more daring piece of wokism, Amanda Rodrigues will be played by Leyna Bloom. Sofia coppola is tipped to direct.
Archie Moore Sonny Liston Jack Johnson Sam Langford Harry Greb Ezzard Charles Bob Fitzsimmons Floyd Patterson just to name a few.
With Foreman finally having a movie and Ali having countless forms of media, Joe Frazier to add the greatness of the 70s HW era as he is merely remembered as an Ali opponent in the modern day. Even though FOTC and Manila have had documentaries, the significance of those fights deserve to be portrayed in the big screen. Stallone had approached Frazier's family to try to get a movie made but it seems that nothing came out of it. A Manila movie by Ang Lee is also currently in limbo.
Ron Lyle Larry Holmes Pep Emmanuel Augustus RJJ Jerry Quarry SRR Yeah but ofc the content has been Ali centric. Would love one that tried to give the Frazier angle too.
