Benn-McCllelan deserve a joint movie (like Duran & Leonard in "Hands of Stone"). The build-up to the fight, the fight itself, the atmosphere on the night, and the aftermath are fit for the big screen. The documentary "The Fight of Their Lives" based on the Benn-McCllelan fight highlight this.

My instant reaction was Marvelous Marvin. Some really great picks though.

Julio Cesar Chavez!!! He recently asked mark Wahlberg if he could make a movie about his life, Wahlberg agreed!

It should start when he's 10 and go through his boxing career. I can't think of a more Oscar worthy life than Ouma's in boxing.

Him and Hagler probably would have two of the most phenomenal movies ever

Lyle could be an interesting one. From a misspent youth to being in jail, really discovering his athletic ability in jail (I think he was the best player in every prison league sport he played in), to finding the dedication to train like crazy to become a fighter upon his release (after being shanked and almost dying), and then having absolutely no time to develop properly because he was 28 at the time of his release. And after all that hard work and dedication, hitting the ground running, having some early successes, and then... losing his biggest fights. Maybe he'd have been able to win those had he been able to start his amateur career at age 18, instead of 28. He'll always be a "what if" of that era.

Qawi would be a more inspiring prison-to-boxer story because he ended up a champ, an ATG (or close to it).

Of course, the most bat**** insane boxing movie could be created about Tyson. If, and only if, they get the right producer/director/actor, and hire Mike as a full time consultant. Lean into the absolute crazy **** that happened in his personal life, don't tone it down. The drugs, the women, the alcohol, insane spending, crashing a car then giving the car to the cop (then later showing up at the station to ask for it back), the random acts of violence, there's so much to work with, and the best part is that Tyson would be totally cool with all of the insanity coming out in the movie (I mean, he's put it all in a book and an HBO special, not like he's shy).

Freddie Mills rumours of him being a serial killer, his suspect suicide. I think it would make for an intriguing movie.

    so do I, however,

no matter the book you read, or reports it's always the same B.S nationalist slant on Freddie, but YES if it were presented as a Human Interest story with all the back story, corruption & investigative speculation, you're right, it would make a great film.

But we Brits (some of us), have a hard time telling that, we'd much rather recycle England 66 if you get my point. But yes I agree, I know Mill's story well.

Lew Jenkins. He led a fast paced life which included drinking everything in sight- including before big fights. He was as skinny as a rake but had a tremendously hard punch. He won the world title when there was only one belt for each weight category. He later became a war hero serving in both WW2 and Korea. I highly recommend reading his book written by Gene Pantalone.

Like Foreman and his grill, they could also include Mike’s own foray into the business world - the word of medicinal therapeutic weed.

Besides Holyfield, I could even see a collaboration with Foreman down the track - The Lean Mean Mulching Machine - Knocks Out The Brain Cells!

Agreed. Docs are far more in-depth. I love Rich The Historian's documentaries on Youtube. You should check it out @DS Phil Hunter
