    That is an intelligent post. Good job. The point is that at this time you need an interesting somewhat unique angle and you generated one.

    They did poor Pete wrong, with good management, taking it slowly, he could have had a good career.

    I've emphasized this in prior threads, and I suppose I'll have to do it again in future threads. "They" was Pete himself. Nobody else had one thing to do with his management. NADA, ZIP, NOTHING. He was 28 years old when he fought Patterson with a college degree and 10 years of amateur boxing behind him, most of it without any organization sponsoring him. He had absolutely no interest in having anybody managing him. He was a lone wolf as far as his management went. He was assisted in his corner by people like George Chemeres and Angelo Dundee, but Pete was his own and their boss in every sense of the word.

    I remember years ago reading somewhere that a Barry Film was in the pipeline.
    Was thinking at the time that would be great.
    Alas, obviously nothing came of it.
