Boxers who didn't pick up the sport until 18 or over?

    Boxers who picked up the sport late and were successful, the obvious ones are Martinez, Nate Campbell, Marciano, Qawi.

    Anthony Joshua is a late starter we will see how he gets on. I know you mean boxers who have had a bit of a career but I just thought i'd throw that one in

    Ron Lyle was 29 when he turned pro and he had little or no amateur experience.

    Tarver. He boxed a tiny bit when he was young but stopped in his teens, then resume in his early 20's after having a kid and a cocaine addiction.

    Lyle won the AAU National Title by knocking out Duane Bobick in like 30 seconds
    . he was a national champion......

    mundine went from professional rugby to boxing at 25. 4 amature fights. should get the win against mosley in two weeks.
