Most people involved in serious/semi-serious sport activities get fat if they quit but dont reorganize their eating habits. Its the calories intake / calories burnt.
Victor Emilio Ramirez. And he wasn't even officially retired. Here he is backstage before the Junlong match. This content is protected
Oh Jesus, yeah, that was humiliating. He went from being involved in serious world title match at CW to...that **** in no time. Junlong is basically the Chinese Butterbean. However much they paid Tyson del Abasto, somebody that cared about him should've pulled him aside and said "bruh. Not worth it. You're literally throwing your whole legacy in the urinal. Here, I've got $50 in my wallet.. "
I could have never imagined just a mere two years after Ola and Victor went to war and put on a classic FOTY contender, that they'd fall from grace so shamefully and brutally, it almost makes me wanna cry.
How about the opposite, boxers who built better physiques post retirement. Alex Arthur is now a unit, built like a small cruiser weight. Easily near 200lbs now and looks to be on the gear. Rendall Munroe does bodybuilding too, big lad now. As is Gavin Rees. Think some guys are addicted to the training and like to have a goal to continue to work to post retirement and some are just the complete opposite, happy to just enjoy life on the binge.
Željko Mavrović - fought a prime super-heavy and held his own, and now has shed about 50lbs in civilian life on some weird vegan organic bread diet!
Was really surprised at Paulie Ayala two time bantam & J featherweight champ. In all the Years I knew him in Ft Worth never saw him weigh more than 130 Saw hum the uther day didn't know him gotta be pushing 190
