And then you have Fraud Mayweather. However, you have to take into account all the running he did in the ring. All those calories he burned up will be enough to keep him below 160lbs for a couple more years.
David Tua... No surprise though, he lacked the discipline to stay in shape even when he was at the peak of his career. That's Burger King for you.
another old record... you're talking about the greatest boxer of his generation and one of the best ever
can't understand how people let themselves go, especially when they've spent a good portion of their life dedicated to discipline and have educated themselves (by virtue of their boxing careers) to health and fitness. I find it incredibly empowering being nothing but lean muscle at 50, knowing that i'm sharper, healthier and fitter than men half my age whatever you do in life, LOOK AFTER your mind and body, because it's only with a clarity of mind and a happy body that you can make good choices and find peace in later life
Probably the same reason I gained like 15lb when I left the military. Kept eating the same amount but I wasn't training anymore so it just piled on til my girlfriend said I was getting fat oneday and i was like oh lol yeah I am n then started going to the gym again
A lot of fighters come from poor backgrounds, when they reach stardom they can't eat what they want because of boxing, is easy to eat trash like a child as an old man when you never did it before.
