Oscar de La Hoya beat the living **** out of Jeff Mayweather in his 4th pro fight.

Floyd Mayweather P4P#1 got a razor thin decision over an old past prime De La Hoya.

Yet again, this is backwards. Not what has been requested.

Yes, to clarify exactly the distinction! :nut

This is an old problem. Nobody ever reads things carefully.

In terms of the actual thread I'm pretty stumped though. I was thinking Antonio and julio Diaz may have crossed paths with a particular fighter somewhere down the line, but I was sadly mistakened :/

See? :) It's a trickier and more challenging subject than what people are confusing it with. :good

Can't think of any that haven't been mentioned in the opening. Probably have to go way back in the day. I doubt Matthyse Cintron happens, it would have to be at 147 and I doubt lucas ever goes higher than that, he's only 5'6, cintron would have 5 inches on him. Lucas would still beat him up though.

Probably. Coming forward and pressuring Cintron was always the best way to beat him. Also spot on IB, this is much harder than I first thought

    :thumbsup

    I hope to see it.

Major boost for Matthysse's resume, and every time Cintron gets spanked it puts a smile on my face...ever since the Martinez debacle.

in 1913 Harry greb lost to Joe Chip - but beat his brother, George Chip, 4 years later.

In 1915 Greb lost to Tommy Gibbons - but beat brother Mike 4 years later.

In 1920 Chuck Wiggins lost to Tommy Gibbons - but beat Mike the following year.
