Joshua is totally done at top level. His level now is beating guys like Franklin and Helenius.

About the same odds as when Kevin fought Vitali (who Kevin [url]marked up[/url] with his jab while turtling on the ropes), Fury, Chisora, Pulev, Ruiz, Dubois, Hrgovic, Bakole and Kabayel. Of these 10 including Joshua only Bakole stopped Kevin and a 4.5 years more wartorn Kevin took him to the 5th, without a KD.

Tearing through Kevin like he's candyfloss requires a devastating "elite" offensive arsenal, otherwise it would have been replicated across 60 fights. That's Joshua's best trait when he uses it.

The KO's of undefeated Whyte, undefeated Martin, un-KO'd in 13 years Wlad, un-KO'd Povetkin, un-KO'd (as a pro) Wallin and un-KO'd Ngannou were also impressive.

Neither are top 2 in the era on accomplishment or ability. Bowe-Lewis was the megafight of the 90's and it never happened. Holyfield (5.5 years post-Bowe 2) and especially Tyson (14 years post-Spinks) were past their sell by dates too.

 

Done maybe but he'll still get the top(ish) gigs due to his promotor for the next 2 years. That's £££ and boxing politics for you. I'm not suggesting it is right. Just the way the game plays out and works.

Fury will be both fighters mega cash out with these next 24 months. 2 Fights I reckon, Wembley and Saudi.
