    Vitali Klitschko.
Compare the fights Lewis - Briggs, and Vitali Klitschko - Briggs.
The younger edition of Briggs was massacred, and the older edition was a punching bag throughout the fight.
    Let's go champ.

This is the stupidest argument I’ve ever seen. So when people say Wilder, Wlad or Lewis are the hardest punchers I’ve ever seen can I say “well they never faced foreman, shavers, or Liston lolz”? Or is that to objective for you?

I’m gonna say Wilfredo Gomez ....it’s not really his power that jumps out at you...it’s his combinations ...it’s his footwork...his defense

I’d say Shannon Briggs who fought 90% tomato cans.

    Pinklon Thomas
    Monte Masters
    Peter McNeeley
    Joe Mesi
    James Jeffries
    Mac Foster

The thread question obviously calls in fighters whose KO/Stoppages were mainly against lesser quality, less durable opp. or fighters who wore their opposition down - the latter fighters still likely possessing a very decent punch but not necessarily holding one punch to a handful of punches KO power and perhaps not having so many early round KOs.

As far as boxers who fought much lesser quality opp. to achieve an extraordinary, albeit deceiving, amount of KOs - all roads lead to Lamar Clark as the Gold Standard.

Joe Mesi might be very true. Jirov said the hardest puncher was Toney not him

I think Tony Mundine deserves a mention. He has 64 knockouts in 80 fights. I don't think he hits that hard tho

George Foreman’s physical strength is his best attribute....he’s not like Felix Trinidad or Julian Jackson....in his younger days he would just pound on you until you collapsed

George Foreman...Reggie White and Shaquille O’Neal are the strongest athletes I’ve ever seen ( in their respective sports)
