Boxers who lie about their size

    Tyson Fury, announced at 2m06, does not seem much taller than Klitshko (1m98) and is about the same size as Wilder (2m01). It should be 2m02 at best.

    Andy Ruiz, announced at 1.88m. Everything suggests that he is closer to 1m82 with his photos with Canelo and Crawford and the big difference compared to Parker and Joshua.

    Jessie Vargas, announced at 1m78, does not seem much taller than Pacquiao or Garcia who must be around 1m68. Vargas must turn around 1m73.

    Most boxers lie about the size of their dicks, nothing out the normal :p

    I generally find the sizes of the boxers consistent.

    But for these three it is obvious that they lie several centimeters.

    I think Ruiz is about 6” not 6”2. Fury is probably between 6”7-6”8.

    Someone who is 6'8" can lose and grow an inch vertically quite easily. Fury can also grow about 8 inches horizontally, Wilder is rumored to grow a massive 12 inches horizontally.

    Fury is definitely taller than Wlad and Wilder. Wlad wore high lift shoes throughout the Fury photo ops & Fury taunted him about it before the start of their bout.

    Here is Tyson fury next to Marius wach who is 6ft7right next to each other, wach looks slightly bigger but he has a trainer on and fury a boxing shoe so I would say they are the same height, 6 ft 7 https://images.app.goo.gl/3tXu7tPRrUk1LD378

    When you're talking about guys who are well over 6 feet the difference an inch makes isn't very noticable.

    (Mike) Tyson's real height was always open to debate. TV broadcasts always used to list him at 5'11", which was always an inch, maybe two inches, optimistic.

    met him in LA on rodeo drive next day after first wilder fight and he’s def not taller than 6’7 and has very narrow shoulders .

    Saw Manny Pacquiao from a couple feet away at a press con. He's really 5' 4" or 5' 4.5" max. Real small dude.

    At the first press conferences I also thought that Wlad had cheated on his shoes. But honestly the difference is tiny the night of the fight.

    Jesse can cheat with his shoes.

    The evening of the fight there is a gap but certainly not 10cm.

    The difference is lower than with Chris Algieri who is counted at the same size.
