We all see Floyd Mayweather and Bernard Hopkins etc who live on a healthy diet and rarely if ever eat **** or drink booze i wanted to know if there are any boxers lately who had a horrific diet but still was successfull. I train hard and stuff and i can eat healthy for 6/7 days but i have my urges atsch
Advertising scheme in my opinion! And to the OP all the hard work in the gym is worthless if you eat ****, shape the **** up
brandon rios maybe? he didn't make weight his last fight and I've seen a video where someone asked him about eating healthy staying in shape and he says stay away from junk food or something and meanwhile he tries to hide his bag of macdonalds from the camera lol
Floyd's chef and other people in his team have openly talked about how he eats what he likes. Apparently if he decides he wants to eat some hotdogs, his chef has to make him hotdogs. Although I do think it will be a lot more of a rarity than they tried to make out.
Johnny Tapia says in his book he used to live on "Dr Pepper, Snickers bars and ice cream". He said he trained with De la Hoya at Big Bear and Oscar was giving him **** for it. He also did a shitload of cocaine.
Might be but he has enjoyed some junk food on 24/7. Ate some candy :hey and if am not mistaken he had a burger once. BTW Wikny is a huge donuts fan. He seriously loves those things. Kessler enjoy junk food from time to time. Andre Dirrell only takes small bites.
ONCE!!!! and its such a big deal lol thats dedication. I remember the week before one of his fights (mosley or maybe ortiz) he went to a ****ing barbecue and was just ate to his hearts content
Food is just energy, there's no harm in eating anything if you can use the energy. The only problem would be if you did it every day, energy dense foods tend to be low in vitamins and minerals so you might become deficient in something.
If you were training with intensity for over 90 minutes that would be a far better choice than some water.
