    It depended in the opponent.

    They had their bromances, too - Duran with DeJesus (wept at his deathbed), Monzon with Briscoe (praised him during and following their rivalry even as it fueled his obsessive rage...complicated guy...), and Mayorga with DLH. (Mayorga actually was a fan of DLH's and for once said that all his trash-talking in the build-up was 100% to sell the PPV, and they hugged it out in the ring)

    Yeah...there was no such reconciliation between Oscar and Fernando. They meant everything they said.

    IIRC, Mayorga and Vargas did bury the hatchet and exchange apologies.
