As we all know boxing is a sport

it has rules regulations and refs, it is not a street fight though it is a fight sport

so taking this into consideration what pro boxers do you think succeed in the ring because it is a controlled sport and they are an athlete sportsman but not truly a fighter

and who is a hell of a fighter who doesnt succeed or isnt elite because its a sport with rules and not a street fight

and who is not effected at all, can fight in the street or ring without much difficulty

my example of a fighter who suffered because its a controlled match not a street brawl would be mayorga

my example of a guy who can fight in the ring or street without much difficulty would be like a Tyson

what are some of your examples in these categories

Foreman would've had even more success with less rules.

Camacho succeeded more with the rules.

Floyd, Moreno, Tim Bradley, Wlad have more success because it is a sport.

Matthyse, Maidana, and Rios would all probably be even more successful with fewer rules.

I think Cotto, Canelo, and Froch are a few guys who can handle themselves well with or without rules.
