Just got done watching Honeyghan travel to the U.S.A and beat who many thought would become a all-time great in Donald Curry. Ali beat Henry Cooper,Chuvalo & Karl Mildenberger as well as a few others. I know Usyk won a bunch of fights in a fighters hometown. Any other examples?

Azumah Nelson stopped Wilfredo Gomez, Pat Cowdel, and Jeff Fenech in their hometown.

Orlando Salido also beat up Juan Manuel Lopez twice in his hometown of Puerto Rico.

All I thought of when I saw this thread is that slew of bottles flying towards Marvin Hagler's head after he curb stomped Minter in GB.

McCallum did his entire career. He fought Watson and Graham in London, Kalambay in his adopted Itay, Collins in Boston which is practically Ireland and Tiozzo in France.

South African Brian Mitchell is probably the ultimate road warrior.

DurĂ n pretty much got every single title above lightweight outside of Panama.
Kuniaki Shibata had success outside of Japan as he won 2/3 of his three titles outside of Japan, ironically he was knocked out in his hometown mostly.

Marvin Haggler vs Alan Minter is a good example.

    British posters will understand.
