Muhammad Ali said that nobody could cut off the ring like George Foreman.

Ha Ha, Ali would say that because he beat Foreman, Gregorio Peralta did NOT feel that way and neither did Jimmy Young

Ken Norton did a pretty good job of it vs Ali.

Yep Sandy Saddler was a good mention. If you're good enough to back WILLIE PEP up - probably the best mover of all times, then you've got to deserve a mention here.

However I think JCC Sr. was the best I ever saw at cutting off the ring.

Chavez is probably the best I've seen. Which makes Whitaker's perfomance against him even more impressive.

Duran's quite overrated in regards to cutting off the ring.I'm always reminded off him clumsily following Edwin Viruet(first fight) around the ring, walking straight into counters and never managing to truly pin him down.

A guy that always impressed me was Carlos Zarate. Not particularly quick or athletic, and very methodical in the way he advanced towards his opponent(much like a Louis or Arguello) but his footwork was such that he generally didn't allow opposition all that much room to move around in.

Jeff Fenech is an obvious one,as far as the swarmers go.

Frazier never seemed to have issues corning people. Even Ali had trouble keeping away from him.
