you guys are drunk if you think Mitch green would whoop tyson on the street. I mean come on lets get real i dont care if you like Tyson or not. Mitch fought like a coward in the ring against tyson 1-2 and holding every chance he got. Then got his face literally destroyed by Tyson have you not seen the pics?!

Compared to the other street fighting boxers, you may be right, but he'd absolutely wreck anyone who didn't have extensive trained fighting experience. He'd likely wreck guys like Duran and LaMotta too, seeing how Moorer would be considerably larger and he knows how to fight.

As impressive as it looks, in reality it's a cut and a swollen eye.

Don't forget the background story -- Green approached Tyson solo when Mike was hanging with his pals, Mike suckerpunched Green and they fell to the floor wrestling, as soon as he got free Mike ran to his car and as he pulled off Mitch tore the wing mirror off yelling and screaming.
As I said before, Tyson appears to me to be the kind of guy we've all seen before or know of - he's tough when his friends are with him. You've got to see how tough Green is. Would you approach Mike Tyson asking for a fight when he's hanging with his crook friends in Harlem at 2AM?
Green was the leader of a vicious street gang, Iran Barkley, who we both are fans of, said in his book that Green was notorious all around New York - he was not a man to be messed with. Just days before the Tyson fight he attacked two dudes who threatened him with knives.

I doubt he's wreck Duran or LaMotta. Both men are legendary street fighters but I've never heard of a Michael Moorer street fight. Granted Moorer may be bigger but he's not as vicious or dirty as both men mentioned, they'd probably knee him in the bollocks or bite him if they thought they couldn't win.

P4P they'd take him without a problem, but in reality Moorer is very capable of knocking both of them out with 1 o 2 punches and has the strength to toss them whereever he pleases. The same can't be said about the two of them regarding Moorer.

They might be the better street fighters, but that doesn't mean they'd actually beat Moorer in a street fight.

Street fighting has very little to do with size. If anything. I've seen first hand and watched videos of tons of big fat dudes, or just big dudes in general, lose to smaller men. Why? Speed, ferocity, technique? If Moorer fights Duran and Duran, who claimed to be a better street fighter than boxer (which is scary!), kicked him in the bollocks, punched him in the face and started biting him - how would Moorer's size make a difference? Street fighting is very different to boxing. Duran battered 5 dudes in a fight when he was 15! Lamotta had a chin SRR or Satterfield couldn't break - I doub't Moorer could hurt him let alone outfight him in an alleyway. Lamotta was a notrious street brawler.

The thing is though were not talking your average drunk who thinks he can take anybody were talking trained pros and as durable as Lamotta is against a heavyweight Moorer he'd probably lose and very badly too. I know Lamotta's backstory I know how crazy he was he didn't hesistate to beat his wife or brother badly he said when he was younger he would randomly lash out and beat up his friends if he thought they were talking about him and he nearly beat a man he knew to death with a pipe for the change in his pocket. Still, you have to realise Moorer had power to put out legit heavyweights, Lamotta had a very small body but enourmous head and if you read reports of the Satterfield fight it seems as tho Satterfield had Lamotta in very bad trouble. Also Satterfield was much smaller and inexpierenced in this fight then when he was in his prime. Although Moorer didn't have Lamotta's hardness he was naturally much bigger andstronger than Lamotta and although not very durable I doubt Lamotta's complete lack of punchign power would be able to put him out.

Lamotta is probably even shorter than Tyson and about 60lbs less.

The size difference isn't as great as you think. Moorer was a light-heavyweight of around 175lbs and throughout his whole career LaMotta was a natural 170lbs fighter who had to sweat down to 160lbs. He was a legit light-heavyweight for a few years and actually knocked out Bob Satterfield, an awesome LHW fighter.

The size difference is huge. Moorer has 6 inches of height and 11 inches of reach on Lamotta. Only through severe caloric restriction and dehydration was Moorer able to sneak under the LHW limit and that trick he was only able to pull into his early 20's. He was every bit a legit modern heavyweight. LaMotta was a stumpy pumpkin head in comparison.

LaMotta could beat Big guys on the street sure, I wouldn't expect anything less from tough guys, especially tough guys that are also Top Athletes who have the advantage of fitness over the average Joe.

But to beat an equally street worn tough guy who IS also considerably bigger and also a Top Athlete, well they may aswell be in the Ring and Jake isn't fighting no Heavies!!!

    How dare you! lol

As I said, I don't think size is a big factor in a street fight. I can't imagine glass jawed, lack luster, lathargic Moorer beating Jake LaMotta who in his prime - which was never recorded - was compared to Battling Nelson, Stanley Ketchel and Harry Greb.

This is the closest to prime footage of the bull LaMotta I could find:

I don't think you understand the massive differences in power and strength between trained fighters and people who go around getting into scrap on the street.

Moorer's size would make a huge difference. He was a hard puncher at heavyweight against men who trained their whole lives taking punches and punching others. He pounded guys down who could take a harder punch than Jake LaMotta and Roberto Duran. In a non-P4P sense, guys like Bert Cooper could take harder punches than Duran and LaMotta. If Cooper fought everyone LaMotta fought and stayed the same size that he really did fight at, he'd be undefeated and most likely have won all of his fights by KO. This is because his power and strength would be far, far too much for the lighter guys.

I've seen Moorer in person, he's a big dude. A really big dude, actually. He was considerably larger than Tarver (a somewhat big lightheavy), he was larger than Tyson, and really wouldn't look out of place amongst guys like Lyle, Holmes, and even Lewis.

If LaMotta and Duran would be far too weak to deal with Moorer in the ring because Moorer's power and strength would be too much, how do you think they'd suddenly be able to take his punches in the street? The power differences would still be there. LaMotta and Duran wouldn't be able to come close to hurting Moorer in the ring, but Moorer would most likely have both of them laid out within 2 rounds. In a street fight Moorer would be unloading his biggest shots and they would knock Duran and LaMotta out very quickly.

P4P LaMotta and Duran would tear him apart, but this wouldn't be P4P.

There is LaMotta and Louis. Moorer was the same height as Louis (6'2) but actually heavier than he was. As you can see, LaMotta is already small in comparison to Louis.
