    Name some boxers you wouldve thought werent professional boxers if you were just a common joe with no knowledge of the sport and you saw them for the first time...

    examples:
    manny pacquiao - i would ve though he was a harmless asian worker at some factory not knowing that he actually is the no 1 pound for pound boxer at the moment

    paulie malignaggi - first thought would be a member of a boy band


    kelly pavlik - a beer drinking common american joe who'd get knocked out in a bar fight now knowing hes one the hardest hitting middleweights currently although laid off

    nonito daonaire - a skinny asian harmless guy not knowing hes one of the slickest harder hitting pound for pound boxers at present

    JMM look like a well educated Mexican not knowing he is a great technician with the best combinations in the game.

    Fernando Montiel look like a average working Mexican not knowing he is also one of the hardest and technical puncher.

    Dmitry Pirog - Looks like a standard Russian dude you would find at a decent University studying a social science but is struggling due to the language barrier.

    Sergio Martinez - If I saw him in the street I would be like "Damn I wish i could be as sexy as this model"

    Sonny Liston- A big, friendly, huggable care bear, Nothing about him screams "I AM A FIGHTER"

    Joe Calzaghe - A miner

    This is really interesting and I think about it a lot from time to time. Specifically I think about how many boxers and MMA fighters are unknown to the majority of the public and how they look like normal guys, but are deadly with their fists.

    To me, Pacquiao IS a good example. The guy does look harmless. And I've seen the Marquez brothers in person in Vegas and I swear they look like little kids. Andre Dirrell looks harmless too. Dude has a babyface. Sergio Martinez and Oscar De La Hoya look like the last thing they would ever want to do is get punched in the face. And for the life of me, I can't see why Cecelia Braekus would ever let anyone get close to her face with a fist. The woman is gorgeous.

    But then there are those that look like bad asses. Shannon Briggs, Chris Arreola, James Kirkland, they look like you wouldn't want to cross them in a dark alley.
