    If Glen Johnson can somehow pull off winning the Super 6, I'd say he'd make a good candidate. I have no idea who could play him. Maybe Red Foxx.

    Oscar is boring. Duran would be good. Maybe Benecio Del Toro? Sonny Liston. Already been butchered in film.

    i think a movie should be made on the Hagler-Leonard fight. but if it has to be about specifically one fighter i think Leonards career was a little bit more colorful. However if it was a Hagler-Leonard movie their contrasting lives and stories would make for a great movie

    oscars story would be good for one of those kids fairy tale stories.

    a boy living in poverty promises his dying mother on her death bed that he will win the gold medal in the olympics for her, he wins the gold medal and dedicates it to his dead mother and then goes onto being a mega success....

    The thing with boxers like Mayweather, Oscar, and SRL. Its hard to make a movie about them. They never faced any racism. They never faced any real adversity early on in their careers, they were just too good, and they were boxers who dominated their competition for the most part. So there really isnt any drama.


    For boxing movies there has to be drama. Nobody wants to see the golden boy do what he was supposed to do.

    Yeah but then the majority of the movie would have to show olympic boxing. OMG would that be boring.
