Matthew Saad Muhammad, his story always makes me feel bad, to be abandoned like that when he was a child. No child should have to go thru that, children are a gift, and should be treated as such, I am a parent, happy and proud to be one, it's also a privilege.

What a fighter he was and is such a sad state of affairs that we didn't see what he could've and should've seen what he could've become

His is beyond sad. God awful childhood that he overcame only to get robbed blind. I think he flat broke and still fighting. He was a hell of a fighter in h8s prime.

For George Chuvalo to go through the deaths of multiple children and a wife to drugs/suicide and still have the strength to speak to youth about mental health is one of the most remarkable things a boxer has done.

I'll always hold Chuvalo in a place of esteem, he was the first fighter I remember watching and his story is remarkable...

Greg Haugan for me too, I mini Chuvalo so to speak, tough as they come, and with a proper Dig or a KO Punch he would have tore them all up. a great value for money fighter, always enjoyable. I don't know for sure, but I get the impression he did not fully secure himself financially after Boxing.

he was a pleasure to watch.
