Who are these boxers that are widely considered as the greatest of their era or the greatest of their generation?

For example, John L. Sullivan is clearly the greatest boxer of the bare-knuckle era. And Pacquiao is considered by many now as arguably the greatest of his era or generation, but does this era include Roy Jones reign? In the 70's, is it Duran or Ali?

    00s is Pacquiao clearly Chimba.

SRL is also in a class apart from Hearns and Hagler IMO

But would you really say that Duran and SRL are not from the same era?
