David Haye's name should be nowhere near any threads discussing overrated qualities. He gets routinely **** on. Nobody rates him in any department other than excuse-making.

 

Honestly he was almost 50/50 in predictions going into Wlad (I predicted Wlad not that it's important). Now he's the worst Heavyweight champion, average power, shoddiest technician you've seen, overrated cruiser etc.

I get what he's saying, at SMW WC level. But this just keeps reminding me why I don't like under/overrated. You need a starting point.

 

Seeing how little he was able to land, his power at super middleweight is pretty much impossible to even rate at all, if you're going on his fights against Froch, Dirrell and Ward.

And that's the truth by the way, because he is a fighter that's overrated.

I still think he's a world class puncher at the weight(well, we don't have much evidence to suggest the contrary anyways), he's just that limited that he very rarely finds the target against high class opposition, which is his main problem..

 

If Maravilla is overrated than that makes Dawson a figment of our imagination

Unproven rather than proven bad, yeah. You could probably say that about a few. I always said his defence was overrated. Just a hands up, I can't see what my opponent is doing and if they want to go to my body or round my gloves feel free, type guard. Anyway, bed.
