i don't agree that pbf has "no heart". it's just that many people consider his heart relatively small compared to his talent. would've been great to see him take challenges to the limit.
You truly dont understand boxing if you think that what Hopkins and Mayweather do is easier than what these sluggers out there do in the ring. atsch
Khan clearly has a lot of heart. He's come of the canvas many times to get up and carry on against fighters. He suffered a devastating KO loss which is very tough to take but is still goinng forward and has turned himself into a world champion.
i'm not even gonna quote the post.... bhop has heart. the man did hard time in prison...not some county lock up. real deal i killed people and aint gettin outta here prison. he lost his first pro fight only to pull it together and get in the ring w/ rjj, tito, odlh, taylor x2, winky, tarver, calzaghe and pavlik. the man fights the way he knows how...but heart?? bhop has heart
That seems a little harsh. Princple no 1- boxing and fighting are of 2 differant categories. I didn't see at one point during the ODLH fight where Floyd wasn't smiling and laughing at ODLHs hearty attempts at trying to engage a fight. Was Floyd showing heart and determination? No, he was dissoluting any chance of a fight by stepping, slipping and holding back, running. His tactics were then to expose oscars emotional attempts at breaking his defence then laugh at him, humiliate him and try and break him down further. My point is that Floyds approach to boxing is not that of a fighting spirit but a sterile technical approach. Therefore he shows little heart in his fight.
I agree BHOP the man has heart. and thats what makes him appealing and promotable throughout his whole career. His reaction at the end of the Pavlik fight is a strong testiment to that. But as a fighter during those 12 rounds? i think it's questionable.
