Boxers with styles more unorthodox than Joe "Slappy" Calzaghe?

Joe's success was 90% due to the extreme unorthodox style he fought with.
Fighters just don't see that stuff in a gym, and if they do, they'd never believe it could work for real in a ring.

Joe, due to his above average stamina was able to make this style work and befuddle many an opppnent.

Who else in boxing uses an unorthodox style as unsual as Calzaghe's?

You would not have an easy time getting a sparring partner for Vic Darchinyan. The guy telegraphs punches he doesn't even throw and sends the wrong messages. You think you can see it coming a mile away but in your mind while you're reacting to it you're going "Oh, he's gonna throw a straight leftcrossercutterhookercutgatdammitOw!"

Maidana would be a good sparring partner for preparing for Vic. He throws those wild and wide looping punches from odd angles also.

A welter weight to prepare you for a southpaw featherweight who used to fight at 112 lbs?

Maidana himself is probably an example of a fighter that would be hard to prepare for.

No where near as unorthodox as Joe. All hard as **** to prepare for.

Sure. It's about the style versus the size. Fighters spar with partners of different weight divisions all the time. :yep
